Support Wheelchair Users. Fund Flight-Ready Protection.
Safe, reliable air travel should not be a privilege reserved only for those who can afford premium equipment out of pocket.
The AEGIS Community Access Fund is a direct mutual-aid initiative created to break down financial barriers. 100% of contributions to this fund go directly toward subsidizing AEGIS ARMOR and AEGIS POWER travel protection systems for low-income wheelchair users, students, adaptive athletes, and community advocates.
Built with Purpose, Made with Pride
Each AEGIS system is built to withstand the harshest airline cargo environments, combining a weather resistant tarpaulin exteriors, precision-engineered interior armor panels, and intricate multi-step assembly.
To bring this level of protection to life, we proudly partner with a dedicated manufacturing facility that employs adults with disabilities at a fair, living wage. While specialized materials and ethical, mission-driven labor represent a significant production investment, we refuse to cut corners on craftsmanship, worker dignity, or your equipment’s safety.
Your contribution directly supports this sustainable ecosystem—keeping ethical manufacturing strong while ensuring no wheelchair user is left unprotected due to cost.
How Your Contribution Works
100% Direct Impact: Every dollar goes directly into the Community Access Pool to offset product development, manufacturing and distribution costs.
$195 Subsidized Access: Contributions directly bridge the pricing gap, allowing qualifying community members to acquire a full travel protection system for only $195.
Rolling Availability: As contributions accumulate, subsidized units are unlocked in the store on a rolling basis for community members who need them most.
Preserving Independence: Enables travelers to safeguard their custom manual and power wheelchairs against catastrophic airline cargo damage without facing prohibitive financial hurdles.
